The brief challenged designers to develop a concept that enhances its owner's performance as an athlete or active adult/family.
Buick's lineup is growing--it's getting a new five-passenger crossover in 2010, with a plug-in hybrid following in 2011. Mercedes-Benz plans to open a driving school for teens in the United States late this year. The school will be modeled on one that Mercedes launched in the United Kingdom in 2009. The location of the school and the program cost won't be disclosed until the end of April, a company spokesman said.
